It all started in 1999 when we began Latin Groove Dance Studios in Miami, Fl...

     We used to teach Casino/Rueda classes to about 200 students a night!  Those were the days.  In June of 2001, we attempted to create the World's Largest Rueda and in Aug of 2003, we were added to the Guinness Book of World Records (we appeared in the 2004 Edition), we sold event shirts and sold over 400 in hours.  Of course we had our studio shirts with our logo, but students were asking for more.  They had seen other dancers at Salsa events and at our event with Salsa shirts and asked where they could get them.  Instead of turning business away, we started out with our first official shirt, the "got salsa?" tee shirt.  Boy!, did those sell... and still do.  It's our top seller.  Obviously, sales in class were doing so well, we eventually started up Groove Gear Salsa Wear.  Get it?  Groove from 'Latin Groove Dance Studios'.  March 7th we received our first online purchase from Roger Yamat.  (Hey Roger, hope you don't mind the mention).  After closing the school in Dec of 2003, keeping the name as Groove Gear Salsa Wear would have not made sense and we also wanted to offer more than just school shirts.  So we changed the name to Salsa Wearhouse, giving us the opportunity to offer all Salsa related merchandise.  Now we alsoAdult Salsa Shirts, Baby Clothes, Instructional Videos, Wrist Bands, Arm Wallets, Dance Sneakers, even Robes
